Job Opportunity
To support our activities Xedev is currently looking for a:
Pharmaceutical Researcher – Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage contract research projects: define the customer
requirements, write protocols, operating procedures and
reporting
- Execute the R&D and/or feasibility studies in the lab
- As the business expands, train and supervise laboratory
technicians
- Networking with potential customers, attend
congresses/conferences
- Manage relations with universities for sub-contracting,
internships and consulting
- Assist in defining the marketing strategy (definition of
market segments, choice of technology, service development,
price setting, etc.)
- Define (technical) requirements for the laboratory,
containment and waste disposal
- Provide feedback on possible technological improvements
- Assist in customer training programs and seminars
- Report to the Executive Committee
Profile:
- You have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
background
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical
environment, by preference in an industrial environment
- You have practical API processing experience, knowledge of
chemical stability, solubility and bio availability
- You are R&D minded, entrepreneurial and “hands-on”
- You are able to work independent as well as in a team
- You are willing to combine some managerial tasks with lab
tasks
- You respect confidentiality
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You can manage multiple projects but set priorities at the
same time
- You do not mind travelling.
